Common Questions
Which After Effects versions are supported?
Our scripts support After Effects CC 2020 and later (versions 17.0+). Both Windows and macOS are fully supported.
I didn't receive my license key after purchase
Check your spam/junk folder first — the email comes from support@bdnhost.net. If you still can't find it, forward your PayPal confirmation to us and we'll resend your key within a few hours.
The script panel isn't showing up in After Effects
Make sure you placed the .jsx file in the correct folder:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects [version]\Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels\
macOS: /Applications/Adobe After Effects [version]/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels/
Then restart After Effects and check Window > [Script Name]. Also ensure "Allow Scripts to Write Files" is enabled in Edit > Preferences > Scripting.
Can I use one license on multiple computers?
Yes. Each license allows activation on up to 2 machines (e.g., your desktop and laptop). If you need more seats, contact us for team pricing.
Do you offer team or studio licenses?
Yes! For teams of 5+, we offer volume discounts. Email support@bdnhost.net with the number of seats you need and we'll send a custom quote.
How do I get updates?
All updates are free for life. When a new version is released, we'll email download instructions to your registered email. You can also check back on our site for the latest version.
