Which version of After Effects do I need?

Text Layer Manager works with After Effects CC 2019 (16.x) and all newer versions including the latest 2025 release.

How do I install it?

No installer needed. Go to File → Scripts → Run Script File, select the .jsx file, and the panel opens immediately. To dock it permanently, copy the file to your ScriptUI Panels folder and restart AE.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! Download the script and use it free for 7 days with all features. Bulk operations are limited to 5 layers during trial. Buy a license to unlock unlimited use.

Does it work with RTL / Hebrew / Arabic text?

Yes. The script operates on the Source Text property directly, so it fully supports any language including right-to-left scripts.

Will bulk font changes break my keyframes?

The script uses full undo group wrapping — Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z will revert all changes in a single operation. Keyframes on properties other than Source Text are untouched.

Can I use this on client projects?
